We are excited to announce our latest feature update for the Windows 95 Solitaire Online Suite! We've listened to player feedback and have rolled out three highly requested features to make your retro Solitaire sessions even more authentic and connected.
1. Display Properties & Custom Wallpapers: You can now customize your desktop background! Double-click the new 🖥️ "Properties" icon on the desktop or launch "Display Properties" from the Start Menu. Choose between the classic Solid Teal, Black Thatch weave, Houndstooth checks, or a Classic Blue vertical gradient. Your choice is saved automatically and persists when you reload.
2. Classic Cascading Win Animation: We have recreated the ultimate digital triumph—the legendary card bounce cascade. Built using a high-fidelity 2D canvas-based physics engine with gravity, elasticity, and ground friction, you can now watch your cards bounce and slide to a stop. Need to start another game quickly? Click anywhere on the screen while the animation is playing to skip straight to the restart dialog.
3. High Score Social Sharing: Made the leaderboard? Now you can easily share your wins with friends! Directly inside the initials dialog box, we've integrated classic Windows 95 styled share buttons. With a single click, you can post your score and time to X/Twitter, share to Facebook, or copy a formatted challenge message directly to your clipboard.
