Welcome back to another edition of the Developer Diaries! The team has been hard at work bringing some of the most requested features to Online Solitaire. Today, we're thrilled to announce a massive update that brings modern multiplayer and progression features directly into our classic retro experience.
Authentication & Live Presence
You can now create an account and log in to track your stats securely across devices! But we didn't stop there. We've introduced Live Presence. Just like the golden days of instant messengers, you can now see exactly how many players are online, playing your favorite solitaire modes. If you decide to engage in a multiplayer face-off using our "Dial-Up" connection simulator, the matchmaking is faster and more reliable than ever.
Profiles XP and Achievements
What is a game without a little progression? With the new Profiles XP system, every single move, win, and daily challenge completed earns you experience points. Level up your profile to show off your solitaire mastery to the world.
We've also added a robust Achievements System! Unlocking achievements grants you special titles and unlocks new classic Win95 cosmetics (like new retro card backs and desktop wallpapers). Can you unlock them all?
